As a news junkie, I'm also really tired of "Breaking News!" I've noticed that CNN has taken to calling that stuff "Developling Story" which is almost as bad!
Speaking of NYC, I think it should become its own entity. Since I'm an upstater, I feel NYC bleeds the rest of us dry. New York City should stand on its own hind legs and stop draining the life out of the rest of us. I'm sick of the rest of the country assuming that all of New York State is Manhattan!
I'm one of the few people who watch the Weather Channel, and I'm sick of Cheryl Lemke's constant use of "under the gun" as in "St. Louis is 'under the gun' for more thunderstorms."
